Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH, seeks a licensed behavioral health clinician to provide crisis assessment and intervention for children, adolescents, and families. The role offers a 3PM–3AM schedule with three days per week, self-scheduling, and options for extra shifts with differential pay.

You will deliver clinical assessment, care coordination, and treatment planning while collaborating with a psychiatric team and maintaining licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Current Ohio licensure; independent license preferred.
• Experience in pediatric behavioral healthcare with children, adolescents and families.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses and documents client problems, history, symptomology, mental status and diagnosis.
• Prescribes initial interventions in a timely manner.
• Develops specific, realistic, and measurable treatment goals and objectives.
• Coordinates client care with providers and community resources for continuity.
• Completes clinical charting and related admin paperwork per policy.
• Stays current in pediatric psychopharmacology and collaborates with the team psychiatrist.
