Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc. is seeking an experienced Night Shift registered nurse for 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. shifts in Columbus, Ohio.

Positions available at 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week) and 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week), with every other weekend required. Rate starts at $36.90 per hour with $4.90 night shift and $4.70 weekend shift differentials. Eligible for Ohio RN licensure and BSN progression within 5 years.

Qualifications

• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates care priorities to LPNs, PCAs, Unit Coordinators, and Allied Health staff.
• Plans, implements, Educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Utilizes Therapeutic Communication while monitoring patients and families.
• Participates in Quality Improvement and reports updates to staff.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
