Job summary

Ron Sunshine Associates LLC in Greensboro, AL seeks a dedicated Pediatric Clinic-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our outpatient pediatric therapy team.

Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR), you will help infants, toddlers, and school-age children build fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and self-help skills for daily routines, school, and home life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Active Alabama COTA license or eligibility.
• NBCOT certification and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience in a pediatric clinic or outpatient therapy setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication and understanding of pediatric milestones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted pediatric occupational therapy interventions in a clinic setting to support goals and functional independence.
• Utilize clinic space and sensory gyms to build fine motor skills and sensory integration.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary clinicians to provide home exercise programs and strategies.
• Document progress, assist with re-evaluations, and update treatment plans.
• Maintain clinic equipment and create a supportive, child-centered environment.
• Educate families about activities and home strategies to support progress.
