Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Clinic-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Greensboro, AL outpatient therapy team. Working under an OTR, you will support infants to school-aged children in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-help skills for daily routines, school, and home environments.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Licensure: Active (or eligible for) Alabama COTA license.
• Certifications: NBCOT certification and Pediatric CPR/First Aid.
• Experience: Pediatric clinic/outpatient setting preferred.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal communication and patience.

Responsibilities

• Direct therapy delivery in a clinic setting to support goals and motor development.
• Clinic-based, play-focused skill building using sensory gyms and tools.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team to provide home programs and strategies.
• Document progress toward milestones; complete session notes and assist with re-evaluations.
• Maintain and set up clinic equipment and therapy spaces tailored to each child.
• Engage families with clear explanations and home activity ideas.
