Job summary

Dynamic Therapy Associates is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our pediatric team. You will work under a licensed OT to support children’s goals, including early intervention at home, in the community, or in-clinic settings.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, evidence-based pediatric interventions, and flexible scheduling. You’ll provide hands-on therapy and family education to promote carryover of skills in everyday life.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sensory integration and pediatric interventions.
• Excellent communication with children and caregivers.
• Ability to maintain accurate visit notes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans addressing sensory processing and motor skills.
• Provide family education and home program development.
• Maintain timely documentation according to practice standards.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals on the plan of care.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Deliver early intervention in natural environments or outpatient clinic.
• Adapt activities to each child’s age and needs.
• Observe and report children’s progress to the supervising OT.
