Job summary

DV Therapy Inc. is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support pediatric therapy under supervision of an OT. Implement treatment plans, guide exercises, monitor progress, and educate families to empower daily living skills.

You will document outcomes, maintain records, and participate in team trainings while ensuring safety and quality of care in clinic and community settings.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA license is required.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Annual TB skin test is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and implement OT-designed treatment plans; provide therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs.
• Document patient progress and maintain records.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of therapy equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Manage appointments and client sessions.
• Maintain organized charts and data tracking.
• Support research projects and community education initiatives.
