Job summary

Theraplay Pediatric Therapy seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support pediatric patients under supervision. You will implement treatment plans, document progress, and help families with home care activities. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to adjust goals and enhance functional outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an OTA degree with a COTA license and familiarity with pediatric care. This in-person role offers both full-time and part-time options and requires strong communication

Qualifications

Associate's degree in OTA and COTA license required.
Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices.
Experience with pediatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Implement treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and modify treatment goals.
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the Occupational Therapist.
