MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver pediatric OT services in our clinic and in patients homes. You will work under an OT, implement individualized programs, and educate families to promote independence and meaningful progress.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license or eligible to obtain licensure before start date.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Provide pediatric occupational therapy services under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and in accordance with physician-approved treatment plans.
• Implement individualized therapy programs to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, strength, range of motion, mobility, self-care, and functional independence.
• Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and strategies to support continued progress.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Build positive relationships with children and families while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
