Job summary

Children's Nebraska is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct, compassionate care to pediatric patients during a 7:00 pm–7:30 am shift with weekend and holiday rotation. You will support the RN, perform essential patient care tasks, and help maintain a safe, orderly unit environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate documentation in EPIC, and attention to family needs, contributing to brighter, healthier outcomes for children in a leading pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Enrolled in an LPN or RN program to be eligible for the CNA-S2RN Program.
• Experience as a nursing assistant with pediatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for pediatric patients under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient room and supply organization.
• Assist with measurements and routine tasks (vital signs, intake/outtake).
• Document care in EPIC flowsheets and ensure safety.
