Job summary

Blythedale Children's Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse's Aide to support pediatric patients in a 94-bed inpatient setting. Under RN supervision, you will provide meticulous care, record vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and help with treatment procedures.

The role requires NY CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work long shifts including nights and weekends. A differential applies for evening and night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• New York State CNA certification required.
• Ability to lift 35–40 lbs and assist with patient transfers.
• Willingness to work long shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day patient care under RN oversight.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the RN.
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, and daily activities.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate documentation.
• Support therapists and other staff as needed.
