Job summary

Children’s Nebraska is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our pediatric care teams on a 7p-7a night shift with weekend and holiday rotation, totaling 36 hours per week.

You will coordinate professional nursing and family-centered care, perform admissions assessments, develop and revise care plans, document thoroughly, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to meet pediatric patients' needs.

Qualifications

• RN with pediatric experience and state licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; pediatric experience preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct age-specific patient/family assessments per unit standards.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans with the care team.
• Document care activities accurately in the medical record.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, CNs, and support staff to ensure optimal outcomes.
