Job summary

Children’s Nebraska is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health & Wellness Center night shift. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide developmentally appropriate care to high-risk pediatric behavioral health patients, ensuring safety and quality outcomes.

You will apply nursing processes, document care plans, and respond to behavioral emergencies while collaborating with family and staff across the unit.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Nebraska or Compact State on hire.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (ASN or BSN).
• Experience with behavioral health nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with behavioral health needs as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Utilize nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care.
• Maintain safe environment and respond to behavioral emergencies.
• Document assessments, planning, delivery and evaluation in the medical record.
