Job summary

Pediatric Health Choice is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to support the nursing team in delivering pediatric care. You will perform clinical tasks, collect vital data, document patient information, and report concerns to a Registered Nurse.

The role emphasizes compassionate, family-centered care. Requirements include CNA certification, pediatric BLS/CPR, and at least one year of experience with infants and children.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited vocational school for CNAs.
• Valid Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Completion of a pediatric basic life support certification course; current CPR card.
• Minimum one year experience in the care of infants, toddlers and children.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing team in routine child care activities.
• Performs clinical skills according to established standards of care; assists nurse with treatments/procedures.
• Participates in data collection (VSS, BP, weights).
• Records clinical findings and patient information in designated records.
• Reports to Registered Nurse any issues requiring assessment or intervention.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to universal precautions.
