Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a compassionate Nurse Aide (CNA) to support patient care under licensed nursing supervision. The role involves observation, communication with patients and families, and assisting with plans of care while maintaining safety and compliance with policies.

Preferred candidates will hold an active CNA certification and obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire, plus CPI training within 30 days.

• Communicates patient care needs to patients, families, and staff.
• Completes documentation of patient-related tasks.
• Adapts communication and care to individual patient populations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
