Job summary

Tender Care is hiring a CNA to provide hands-on pediatric care in Spring Hill, Florida. This full-time position focuses on safe, compassionate care for medically complex children. Responsibilities include bathing, feeding, diapering, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with safe patient transitions.

A CNA license and CPR certification are required, with background screening prior to start. Shifts run Monday–Saturday from early morning to evening; no driving required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of childcare experience (non-family).
• Shifts Monday through Saturday between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM, no more than 2 Saturdays a month.
• Active CNA license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
• CPR certification prior to start.
• Willingness to complete Level 2 Background Screening prior to start.
• Calm, patient, and compassionate approach with children who have developmental or behavioral needs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care: bathing, feeding, repositioning, diapering, toileting.
• Monitor and document vital signs, report changes to the nurse.
• Comfort and soothe children through rocking, holding, and reassurance.
• Assist with safe patient transitions during transportation times (no driving required).
• Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols.
