Job summary

Tender Care Centers in Florida is seeking CNAs to provide hands-on care for medically complex children in a supportive, team-driven environment. You will monitor vital signs, document changes, and help with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, and comforting children.

No night shifts and no Sundays. Ideal candidates hold an active FL CNA license or are willing to obtain within 90 days, have CPR certification, and possess at least 1 year of non-family childcare experience.

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA license or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• CPR certification required prior to start.
• At least 1 year of childcare experience (non-family).
• Calm, patient and compassionate approach with children with developmental or behavioral needs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care: bathing, feeding, repositioning, diapering, toileting.
• Monitor and document vital signs, report changes to the nurse.
• Comfort and soothe children through rocking, holding, and reassurance.
• Ensure safe patient transitions during transportation times (no driving required).
• Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols.

What You’ll Do

Every day looks a little different, but your impact is constant:

• Provide hands‑on care: bathing, feeding, repositioning, diapering, toileting
• Monitor and document vital signs, reporting changes to the nurse
• Comfort and soothe children through rocking, holding, and reassurance
• Help ensure safe patient transitions during transportation times (no driving required)
• Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols
• Monday–Saturday between 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• No nights. No Sundays.

What You Need:
