Job summary

Tender Care Medical Services, INC in Spring Hill, FL is seeking a compassionate CNA/DCP to provide hands-on care for medically complex children in our pediatric program. You’ll bathe, feed, reposition, diaper, and support daily routines with patience and care.

Qualifications

• At least one year of verifiable childcare experience outside of the home (non-family).
• Active CNA certification OR willingness to obtain CNA certification within 90 days of hire.
• CPR certification prior to start.
• Level 2 Background Screening clearance prior to start.
• A calm, patient, and compassionate approach when working with children.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy healthcare environment.
• Dependability, flexibility, and a willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care, including bathing, feeding, repositioning, diapering, and toileting.
• Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any changes in patient condition to the nurse.
• Comfort and soothe children through rocking, holding, and reassurance.
• Supervise and participate in fun, structured indoor and outdoor activities.
• Assist with daily routines and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Help ensure safe patient transitions during transportation times (no driving required).
• Follow all safety, infection-control, and confidentiality protocols.

What You'll Do

Every day looks a little different, but your impact is constant!

Provide hands-on care, including bathing, feeding, repositioning, diapering, and toileting.

Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any changes in patient condition to the nurse.

Schedule

Scheduling is Monday-Saturday, with shifts falling between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

No nights or Sundays.

No more than two Saturdays per month.

What You'll Need
