Job summary

US Pediatric Partners is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to support pediatric providers in patient assessments, lab work, and immunization-related tasks. You will assist with exams, collect specimens, and help prepare patients for procedures in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, accurate documentation, HIPAA compliance, and teamwork with clinicians and administrative staff.

Qualifications

Must have active CMA/RMA.
CPR certification required.
Experience in a pediatric medical practice preferred.
Working knowledge of computer applications; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs and document in chart.
Instruct patients about medications and diets as directed by provider.
Explain treatment procedures to patients and prepare patients for examination.
Assist physician during patient exams and collect/prepare lab specimens.
Perform basic laboratory tests and blood collection per OSHA standards.
Keep exam rooms stocked and sterilize instruments; prepare and administer medications as directed.
