Qualifikationen

• Must have active RMA/CMA.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Pediatric practice experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write effectively.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs and document in chart.
• Instruct patients about medications and special diets as directed by provider.
• Explain treatment procedures to patients.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist physician.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic tests.
• Maintain exam rooms and supplies, sterilize instruments as required.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed.
• Perform blood collection following safety procedures.
• Maintain logs and required checks (refrigerator temps, meds, oxygen, etc.).
• Process messages from patients and front office staff to providers.
• Complete mandatory training and perform other duties as assigned.
