Job summary

Seattle Children's seeks a Medical Assistant — Registered to support the division research team in conducting clinical trials, organizing regulatory documents, and assisting with protocol implementation and site initiation visits.

Partner with the PI to monitor routine study activities, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice within the Medical Assistant — Registered scope of practice defined by Washington DOH and Seattle Children's policy.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant — Registered designation by Washington Department of Health (DOH) within 60 days of employment.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) within 60 days of employment.
• Pediatric research experience preferred; pediatric/urgent care experience and/or medical screening and immunization experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist the assigned division research team with organization, implementation and completion of clinical research trials.
• Maintain regulatory documents; assist the Principal Investigator in planning protocol implementation, site initiation visits, and routine monitoring of clinical studies.
• Ensure research projects are conducted in compliance with federal regulations, institutional policies and Good Clinical Practice in the Washington state scope.
