Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Medical Assistant – Certified designation by Washington DOH is required.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) is required.
• For MA's performing moderately complex point of care testing, a diploma/transcript equivalency must be on file with HR at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform individualized patient procedures and tests.
• Provide scheduling, registration and check-in support.
• Triage patient telephone calls to appropriate resources.
• Collect and/or update demographic and financial information.
• Investigate pre-authorizations and insurance approvals; prepare charts for clinic visits.
• Support clinic operations and monitor clinic flow across multiple counties.
