Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to work across hospital, urgent care, and community pediatric clinics, collaborating with the Infectious Diseases research team and explaining studies to potential participants.

The role involves coordinating trials, creating regulatory documents, monitoring studies, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice. A BA/BS and MA-Registered within 60 days are required, with bilingual skills possibly needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in research or a related field/setting.
• To obtain licensure as a Medical Assistant Registered within 60 days of employment.
• Bilingual skills may be required for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with members of the assigned division research team in the organization, implementation, and completion of clinical research trials
• Create and maintain regulatory documents
• Organize protocol implementation and site initiation visits
• Conduct routine monitoring of clinical studies
• Ensure that research projects are conducted in compliance with federal regulations, institutional/departmental guidelines, and standards of Good Clinical Practice.
