Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to work across hospital, urgent care, and community pediatric clinics, collaborating with the Infectious Diseases research team and explaining studies to potential participants.

The role involves coordinating trials, creating regulatory documents, monitoring studies, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice. A BA/BS and MA-Registered within 60 days are required, with bilingual skills possibly needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual skills may be required for certain positions.

Job description

This position will work in a variety of settings including Seattle Children's Hospital and Urgent Cares as well as local community pediatric clinics to work closely with children and families in the community. The successful candidate will be comfortable explaining our research studies to potential participants. This position will work independently as well as alongside the Infectious Diseases research team.

Required Education and Experience

Required Credentials

• Current Medical Assistant - Registered designation by Washington Department of Health (DOH) within 60 days of employment.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) within 60 days of employment.

Training to obtain MA-Registered license will be provided after starting employment.

Preferred

• Spanish fluency.
• Pediatric research experience.
• Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization.

Compensation Range

$29.16 - $43.73 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
