Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee shift operations and serve as the clinical resource for patients, families, and the healthcare team. You will provide clinical leadership of patient care services and supervise nursing and support staff to ensure developmentally appropriate, high-quality care on your assigned shift.

Required qualifications include an RN license (Arizona or compact), an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, BLS and PALS/NRP

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or bachelor’s degree in nursing (Required).
• Two years nursing experience or demonstrated bedside nursing competence (Required).
• Current Arizona RN license or RN Compact license with multistate privileges (Required).
• BLS provider certification from the American Heart Association (Required).
• PALS or NRP certification from the American Heart Association (Required).
• Current nursing certification in clinical nursing expertise or must obtain within one year (Required).
• Bachelor's or higher in a healthcare related field (Preferred).
• One year supervisory or lead experience (Preferred).
• Experience with pediatric patient populations (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift operational flow in alignment with organizational goals and standards.
• Provide clinical leadership of patient care services.
• Direct supervision of nursing and support staff to ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate care.
• Promote an engaging work environment and adherence to regulatory requirements.
