Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Healthcare-related field is preferred.
• Two years of nursing experience are required.
• One year of supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
• Experience with pediatric patient populations is preferred.
• Current Arizona RN license or RN Compact license with multistate privileges is required.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers is required.
• PEARS, PALS, or NRP certification (or within 9 months of hire) is required.
• Current and valid nursing certification in clinical nursing expertise or ability to obtain within one year is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily clinical operational activities to ensure quality family-centered care.
• Oversees staffing processes and staff assignments.
• Monitors unit environment and ensures supplies and resources for safe patient care.
• Mentors staff and promotes professional development.
