Job summary

The University of Florida Multidisciplinary Diagnostic and Training Program (MDTP) on the Main Campus in Gainesville seeks a Clinical Service Representative III to support daily operations and client services. This full-time role handles referrals, scheduling evaluations, and coordinating client charts while ensuring HIPAA compliance and grant deliverables.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and medical office experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, and bilingual Spanish

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and four years of medical office experience, CPT/ICD-10 knowledge, and basic medical terminology.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Ability to drive within the north-central Florida region for grant deliverables.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Bilingual with Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes referrals and PHI records; maintains referral logs.
• Coordinates client appointments; manages the MDTP calendar and client charts.
• Greets clients, facilitates required authorizations for grant deliverables.
• Supports clinicians with evaluations and related records while following HIPAA and policies.
• Routes reports and disclosures per PHI forms and documents release of records.
• Trains and mentors clinic staff and recommends policy improvements.
