Job Description:
This position functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team responsible for providing and coordinating trauma-informed services for victims of child abuse and neglect and their families. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, the position supports timely and coordinated access to services for eligible clients, caregivers, referral sources, community therapists, and partner agencies throughout the program’s designated catchment area of Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns Counties. The position serves as a primary point of contact for the Sexual Abuse Treatment Program (SATP) for the Child Protection Team (CPT) and provides front-line administrative, client-access, intake, scheduling, records-management, reporting, and program-coordination support. Key responsibilities include assisting with intake documentation; coordinating appointments and managing the client waitlist; maintaining client records; completing required data reporting; supporting compliance-monitoring activities; coordinating referrals; organizing team-meeting logistics; and providing operational support to the SATP Program Coordinator and clinical staff.
Assists with the completion of intake documentation with clients, caregivers and/or referral sources to obtain demographic and pertinent clinical information prior to the evaluation of pending clients. Serves as point of contact for the office to include answering incoming calls, returning messages in addition to scheduling, confirming or cancelling appointments, as appropriate. Assist clinical staff with scheduling appointments and responding to client inquiries. Assists with maintenance of client waitlist as outlined with waitlist policies and provides regular updates to the Program Coordinator.
Prepares and submits required monthly data reports as outlined by contract requirements. Reviews community therapist monthly workbooks and billing. Assists with and completes all departmental reports and data collection, as needed.
Functions as the Records custodian for the program. Retains client records in secured location and assists with retrieving records at the request of the Program Coordinator. Enters and maintains accurate client information in the agency’s electronic medical record system. Ensures compliance with all departmental and agency policies and procedures. Assists Program Coordinator with annual monitoring visits by Department of Health. Provides necessary documentation for annual contract renewal. Supports agency marketing and outreach efforts, when requested.
Organizes regular SATP team meetings with division employees and community therapists. Sends out agendas, handouts, and any other documentation needed for the meetings. Creates the in person or online invites, takes notes and distributes meeting notes after. Participates in staff development activities, trainings, staff meetings as required.
$17.72 - $21.89 per hour
Bachelors’ degree preferred, preferably in health, behavioral science, statistics, social services, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
