Job summary

IU Health in Indianapolis seeks a registered dietitian to support Multi-Specialty Clinics within Northside Pediatrics. This PRN Hybrid role will provide nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients, applying the Nutrition Care Process in collaboration with the care team.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Dietetics (before 2024), 0–3 years’ experience, and must obtain CDR registration within 6 months and Indiana RD licensure within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in dietetics (before 2024).
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months of start date.
• Indiana RD licensure within 1 year of start date.
• Ability to develop nutritional care plans and provide nutrition education.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimal nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients using the Nutrition Care Process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate nutrition education.
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on patient needs and education.
• Document nutrition-focused physical exams and malnutrition assessments.
