Job summary

Indiana University Health in Indianapolis is seeking a PRN Hybrid Dietitian/Nutritionist to provide nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients within Northside Pediatrics clinics.

You will apply the Nutrition Care Process, conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Remote opportunities may exist and licensure requirements must be met within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree is required or Bachelor's Degree prior to 2024.
• Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Licensure through the state of Indiana must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• Any clinical area billing for service may require CDR approval and Indiana state RD license prior to start date.
• Requires the ability to develop nutritional care plans and provide nutritional education.
• Requires the ability to demonstrate competency in nutrition focused physical exam and malnutrition documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan, organize, implement and evaluate nutrition education individualized to patient needs.
• Collaborate with Multi-Specialty Clinics within Northside Pediatrics departments to support patient care.
