Job summary

IU Health in Indianapolis is seeking a registered dietitian to deliver medical nutrition therapy for ketogenic diet management in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will craft individualized feeding plans, monitor growth and labs, and educate patients and families on enteral feeding and safety.

This role requires on-call capabilities and remote weekend coverage, with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and Indiana RD licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or Bachelor's degree prior to 2024.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• RD registration within 6 months of start date.
• Indiana licensure within 1 year of start date.
• CDR approval may be required for service billing and Indiana RD license.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy for ketogenic diet in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develop and manage individualized ketogenic diet plans, monitoring growth, labs, and parameters.
• Educate patients and caregivers on ketogenic diet therapy and enteral feeding techniques.
• Collaborate with Neurology, nursing, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain on-call capabilities and remote weekend coverage.
