Job summary
Rutgers University’s School of Nursing in Bayville, NJ seeks a Health Care CFNP Management (RN) to support the Child Health Program within RBHS. The role collaborates with CP&P staff, families, and community health partners to meet health, protection, and well‑being needs of children in foster or caregiver settings.
The position requires NJ RN licensure, a BSN or higher, pediatric nursing experience, BLS, and strong computer skills.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey required.
- BSN or BA/BS in health-related field; pediatric nursing experience may substitute.
- Minimum 1–2 years of full-time pediatric clinical experience.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- Valid NJ license and vehicle for off-site visits; computer literacy required.
Responsibilities
- Confer with CP&P casework staff to determine referral scope for the CFN.
- Assess child and family health status using records and interviews.
- Complete joint home visits with caseworker; attend subspecialty appointments as needed.
- Support the health plan developed with primary medical home and partners.
