Job summary

AltaPointe Health Systems is seeking a skilled Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. The role involves greeting patients, assisting with assessment processes, administering injections, and updating patient records within AltaPointe policies.

The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 10 pounds, and strong communication with physicians and the care team. A sign-on bonus is offered and interview terms will discuss eligibility.

Qualifications

• Possesses current certification for a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and lift at least 10 pounds.
• Must have visual acuity in at least one eye and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Greets all patients professionally and welcoming.
• Assists with assessment process including height/weight and vital signs.
• Administers injections following Six Rights of medication administration.
• Communicates with physician/CRNP about patient condition and coordinates with multidisciplinary team.
• Maintains patient records, updates Avatar system, and handles admissions/lab services as needed.
