Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking an organized Patient Service Representative in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology. The role requires 1–2 years in a physician office or healthcare setting and 1–2 years of patient scheduling experience.

Candidates should demonstrate strong customer service, communication, and computer skills, with EMR familiarity (Meditech preferred). High school diploma or GED is required, with bilingualism preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a physician office and/or healthcare setting.
• 1-2 years patient scheduling experience.
• Ability to multi-task with excellent customer service, communication skills, and computer skills including knowledge of an electronic medical system.
• Knowledge of insurance referral requirements and securing authorizations.
• Medical Terminology and Anatomy/Physiology Courses, or working knowledge of same.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access; Meditech experience preferred.
