Stony Brook Medicine in Stony Brook, NY is seeking a CTS Pediatric Cardiology Associate/Congenital Cardiac Sonographer to provide clinic services and perform echocardiographic studies on fetuses, infants, children, and adults in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited ultrasound program, at least one year of cardiac ultrasound experience, and RDCS eligibility; preferred pediatric/fetal echocardiography experience and additional registrations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound school program.
• One year experience in cardiac ultrasound.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible.

Responsabilités

• Perform and assist in echocardiographic procedures on fetuses, infants, children and adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Obtain images using 2D, color flow, Doppler and m-mode techniques.
• Enter charges and patient data into reports; act as a clinical resource and preceptor.
• Provide coverage to satellite clinic locations.
