Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited cardiac ultrasound program.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: One (1) year of congenital cardiac sonography experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: ARDMS or RDCS or CCR (CCS).

Responsibilities

• Review indications and medical information for echocardiograms.
• Perform independent, normal to complex congenital transthoracic studies.
• Instruct and assist patients throughout procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Present studies to physicians and obtain additional images as needed.
• Document observations and quantifications in PACS.
