Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound school program.
• One year experience in cardiac ultrasound.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible.
• At least one year of pediatric and fetal echocardiography experience (preferred).
• Experience with obstetric ultrasound (preferred).
• Experience with deformation imaging (preferred).
• Registered in Pediatric Echocardiography (preferred).
• Registered in Fetal Echocardiography (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in echocardiographic procedures on fetuses, infants, children, and adults.
• Obtain images using 2D, color flow, Doppler, and m-mode techniques per protocols.
• Enter charges for exams performed.
• Enter patient data/measurements into report worksheets.
• Serve as a clinical resource and preceptor for staff and students.
• Provide coverage to satellite clinic locations.
