Job summary

Children's National Medical Center is seeking a Fetal Cardiac Sonographer for the Echocardiography Lab. You will perform fetal and pediatric echocardiograms, record results, and support research and education within a busy outpatient and inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Echocardiography program.
• 2 years fetal echo experience in a pediatric/fetal lab.
• PE or RCCS certification on hire; FE certification on hire; BLS on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms for complex congenital heart disease in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Independently perform fetal echocardiograms for early detection of congenital heart disease.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in training fellows and staff.
