Nemours Children''s Health seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia care team. The role includes preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, assisting with patient care, and ensuring supplies are available before, during, and after procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, BLS, and at least 1 year of hospital experience, with preference for CER.A.T./CER.A.T.T. certification. Prior perioperative experience is valued in a dynamic pediatric setting.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.
• Preferred: CER.A.T. or CER.A.T.T. certification from the ASATT.
• At least 1 year of prior experience in ambulatory or acute care hospital Surgical or Perioperative Services.

Aufgaben

• Assist licensed anesthesia providers in various settings.
• Prepare and maintain patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems.
• Perform first level maintenance on anesthesia equipment and ensure sterile, clean, and stocked supplies.
• Assist with difficult intubations and invasive line preparation.
• Support transport of lines and cables during patient movement and post-case cleanup.
