Job summary

Children's National Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician II to support the anesthesia team in pediatric surgeries. The role includes prepping equipment, maintaining sterile supplies, and assisting with complex cases under supervision.

Responsibilities span operating rooms and off-site locations; required: high school diploma or GED, 3 years' experience, BLS certification; preferred CNH Anesthesia Technician curriculum and ASATT. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7a–3:30p.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia provider in delivering care to pediatric surgical patients.
• Prepare and stock anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Maintain supplies in all anesthetizing locations and ensure equipment functioning.
