Qualified candidates hold CPC certification and 3-5 years of pediatric billing experience, with proficiency in Athena EMR and Excel.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 and HEDIS guidelines.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required.
• 3-5 years of physician billing and coding experience, pediatrics preferred.
• Experience with telehealth billing and payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Submit clean, timely claims with correct codes and modifiers.
• Track denials and resubmit; follow up on underpayments.
• Verify eligibility and authorization for patient encounters.
• Ensure proper telehealth and SDOH coding usage.
• Collaborate with credentialing, payer reps and revenue cycle teams.
• Support provider training and documentation improvement.
