Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy for pediatric patients in home settings or daytime facilities. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and feeding disorders for children aged 0–21, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, completion of the Clinical Fellowship (CCC-SLP), and Texas licensure. Bilingual Spanish is preferred; home health experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP.
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities for ages 0–21, 2+ times per week.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, and related impairments using appropriate assessments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports when needed.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals for each patient and advise the team on therapy modalities.
• Plan and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants if possessing 3+ years of experience.
