Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy in patients' homes or daytime facilities. The role focuses on pediatric caseloads (0-21 years), with care plans and collaboration across a multidisciplinary team to achieve targeted speech and language goals.

Requirements include a Master’s in SLP, Texas licensure, CCC-SLP, and pediatric/home health experience; bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral‑motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech-Language Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
