Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Behavioral Research Coordinator I to support school-based behavioral health studies within the Center for Childhood Resilience (CCR) and the Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute.

This role coordinates start-up, data collection, participant recruitment, and regulatory compliance across multiple school and community sites. You will abstract data from medical records, manage REDCap entries, and collaborate with investigators

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; related field considered with relevant experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in behavioral program or research.
• Knowledge of research regulations preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Familiarity with Excel database basics.
• Bilingual Spanish verbal and written abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with study start-up and regulatory documents for sponsor/regulatory agencies.
• Coordinates study conduct with other departments to implement projects.
• Assists in development, implementation and tracking of studies.
• Prepares protocols, informed consents, modifications for review by IRB/sponsor.
• Identifies and recruits eligible study participants; conducts consent/assent.
• Assists in delivery of behavioral interventions.
• Arranges study visits and provides instructions to participants/families.
• Attends research project meetings.
• Records data in systems; abstracts data for processing/analysis.
• Creates/updates research forms and source documents.
• Coordinates reimbursement of participants.
• Records data in REDCap or similar systems.
• Performs QA/QC and literature searches.
