Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks a Behavioral Research Coordinator I to support school- and community-based behavioral health studies under the CCR.

The role involves coordinating regulatory tasks, data collection via REDCap/Qualtrics, participant engagement, and ensuring QA/QC across data management systems. Responsibilities include literature review, assay of study progress, and collaboration with multiple partners to advance pediatric behavioral health research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; combined education/experience may be considered.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in behavioral program or research.
• Knowledge of research regulations preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Familiarity with Excel database basics.
• Bilingual Spanish verbal and written abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with study start-up and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate study conduct with other departments.
• Develop, implement and track studies with minimal supervision.
• Prepare protocols, informed consents, and IRB materials.
• Identify and recruit eligible participants; conduct consent/assent.
• Deliver behavioral interventions as needed.
• Coordinate participant visits and provide instructions to families.
• Attend research meetings and maintain documentation.
• Abstract data from medical records and enter into forms.
