Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Behavioral Research Coordinator I to support the Center for Childhood Resilience (CCR) within the Pritzker Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.

You will collaborate on school‑based behavioral health research studies with principal investigators. Responsibilities include coordinating regulatory documents, recruiting participants, delivering interventions, collecting data in REDCap, and assisting with grant tasks, all

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in behavioral program or research.
• Knowledge of research regulations preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Familiarity with Excel database basics; Spanish language abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with study start-up and regulatory documents for IRB/sponsor review.
• Coordinates study conduct with departments to implement projects.
• Supports development and tracking of studies with minimal supervision.
• Coordinates participant recruitment and informed consent processes.
• Assists in delivery of behavioral interventions and scheduling of study visits.
• Abstracts data from medical records and enters data into protocol forms.
• Maintains data management and QA/QC procedures; supports data analyses.
• Supports grant development activities and preparation of research outputs.
