Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital seeks a Youth Behavioral Health Clinician to join the Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit. You will perform clinical assessments, provide behavioral health treatment, care coordination, and crisis intervention for children and their families across settings.

You will develop measurable treatment goals, employ evidence-based interventions, and coordinate with other providers while maintaining thorough documentation and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Appropriate Ohio licensure required; independent license preferred.
• Experience with pediatric behavioral health and trauma-informed care required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses client problems, documents history, mood, and diagnosis; prescribes initial interventions.
• Develops specific, measurable treatment goals and objectives.
• Uses empirically supported interventions aligned with program expectations.
• Coordinates client care with other providers and community resources to ensure continuity of care.
• Completes clinical charting and related administrative paperwork per policy standards.
• Keeps current in pediatric psychopharmacology and collaborates with the team psychiatrist.
