Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a clinical professional for the Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit (YCSU). You will assess and treat youth, coordinate with families and providers, and deliver crisis intervention across settings.

The role supports 36 hours over three days per week with full benefits and opportunities for CEUs and supervision. Required are a Master’s degree in a relevant field and Ohio licensure; independent license preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
• Ohio licensure required; independent license preferred.
• Experience in pediatric behavioral healthcare with children, adolescents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical assessment, behavioral health treatment, case management, care coordination, and crisis intervention for youth and families.
• Documents presenting problems, history, symptoms, mental status, diagnosis and initial interventions.
• Develops measurable treatment goals and uses evidence-based strategies.
• Coordinates client care with other services to ensure continuity.
• Maintains clinical charting and related paperwork per policy.
