Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to provide therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents in home, school, and community settings. You will deliver care under an individualized treatment plan and coordinate with families, schools, and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include client education, transportation when needed to secure attendance, and documentation in the Epic system to meet state requirements and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• May require clinical license, certification or training.
• Clinical documentation, care coordination and resource linkage; behavioral health intervention and treatment planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic intervention to an assigned caseload based on an individualized treatment plan in the client's home, school, or community.
• Transport patient/caregiver in personal vehicle as needed to ensure attendance at all appointments.
• Participate in regular team planning meetings and support the multidisciplinary team with training and data collection.
• Function as part of the outpatient behavioral intervention program to assess behavioral function and implement protocols.
