Qualifications

• High School graduate or its equivalent required.
• Experience in direct patient care and/or patient observations or one year of progressive education in a human services-related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct or indirect observations and support to patients under RN supervision.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing or clinical staff promptly.
• Monitor and document patient behavior, mood, and activity per protocols.
• Assist patients with daily activities such as hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• De-escalate situations using approved verbal techniques to promote safety.
• Attend staff development, supervision, and meetings as assigned.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; ensure a clean, safe care space.
