Job summary

Gracent Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children ages 2-12, helping them build communication, independence and confidence. Training is provided, with paid RBT certification and performance-based raises. The role emphasizes assent-based, neuroaffirming care within a collaborative team.

Shifts start at 8am/9am/1pm/3pm, with benefits for full-time staff. Starting pay is $18 per hour, increasing to $20 after RBT certification, and a supportive environment focuses

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (babysitting, coaching, camps, classrooms) or similar settings.
• Empathy, patience, and ability to stay calm in challenging moments.
• Willingness to learn and grow within ABA and related therapies.

Responsibilities

• Spend time 1:1 with children ages 2-12 to build language, social and independence skills.
• Assist children with requests, transitions, and daily living tasks.
• Manage meltdowns or elopement with patience and calm presence.
• Track progress and take notes to inform therapy plans.
